Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) often possess remarkable creativity that enriches, strengthens and sweetens our lives. But when we are in mourning, it can be difficult to breathe let alone create something that could nurture us.
Join Neshia of A Thoughtful Death and Rose of Tiny Plot Farm in this virtual workshop exploring ways to slow down, tap into our innate wisdom and redefine what grieving can be. Using the art modalities of poetry, plant arranging and physical grief signifiers (wearing your grief), participants are invited to experiment with different forms of feeling and expression. Neshia and Rose will also be sharing practical ways to creatively mourn as well as other resources for use after the workshop.
Space is limited for this supportive offering so reserve your spot now. Attendance is free but donations are welcome.
This workshop is right for you if: you are a Black, Indigenous or Person of Color; you are grieving a death and/or another loss; you love being creative but might be feeling uninspired; you want tools for mourning that include more than just words; you want to be held in a BIPOC loving space to feel some feels ✨
Please note that this workshop will be recorded.
