Gravesite Care
Visiting a grave is a time-honored tradition but can be difficult if you live far away, are struggling with grief or had a strained relationship with the person who died. Additionally, not all cemeteries provide cleaning of burial sites. This can lead to overwhelm when mourning people coming to the grave encounter weeds, dying flowers or other debris instead of a calm resting place.
A Thoughtful Death’s Gravesite Care service offers one-time or on-going visits by Neshia to a burial site in the greater Seattle metro area to tidy, arrange fresh flowers and any other remembrance rituals suitable for the people involved.
Gravesite Care Includes:
A free initial consultation with Neshia to talk about your wishes for this care ritual
Tidying and light maintenance of the burial site
Fresh flowers for grave, mausoleum, etc.
Lighting of incense, candle or other altar ceremony as requested
Songs, poetry, prayers or other pieces to be performed or left at the burial site
Please note that cemeteries have different policies and all requests or components of this service must meet cemetery site rules.
Price: $150 a visit (may include additional mileage cost depending on cemetery location)
